Dresden City Art Museum

The Dresden City Art Museum in the Landhaus is the Art Museum of the City.

Founded in 2002, it sees itself as a forum for art in the region. The collection contains approximately 1,700 paintings, 800 sculptures works, and more than 20,000 graphicworks. The earliest works date from the 16th century although the main focus of the holdings concentrates on the 19th and 20th centuries. The Gallery regularly presents special exhibits.
